Designing the signage for the Grand Wailea Resort's guestrooms, food and beverage spaces, and Kilolani Spa emphasizes a deep connection to Hawaiian culture and mo'olelo of the place. Guestroom signage features natural materials like local woods and organic fonts inspired by Hawaiian language and motifs. Food and beverage signage incorporates custom patterns, branded colors, and natural elements to reflect the resort’s offerings. For the Kilolani Spa, the signage evokes tranquility using earthy textures, symbols like the moon phases, and muted colors to create a serene atmosphere.
